Welcome to Phoebus Car Search

This website allows you to search for used cars on Craig's list in a more accurate and deep way. Our classified search is spelling invariant, and even if a person does not include all of the attributes, our research can append them, making the post searchable by the missing attribute. For instance, if a listing contains the term Camry, but not Toyota, our research still knows that the listing is about Toyotas, and will return this listing for a search over all Toyotas. Furthermore, the results returned to you are sortable by made, model, trim, year, price and date posted. We can even perform aggregate queries, such as "what is the average/maximum/minimum price of X?" To demonstrate this, the results show you an average price for all the cars that fit your search.

Also, we are able to link each posting with outside information. Underneath each post you will find the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration crash ratings (for those cars that we have it for), which comes from the database provided by the NHTSA. We also show a link to MSN Auto for that car, that is created on the fly at search time. So, enter your car information, your city requirements and the dates of the posts you want, and hit "Search!".

Why not let Phoebus car search monitor Craig's list for you? By setting up an email alert, Phoebus will email you whenever a car is posted that matches your search criteria. This way you don't have to worry about keeping up-to-date with your used car search, Phoebus will do it for you.
